Important Information from the Egyptian Consulate, Chicago
With the grace of God, the blessings of Anba Saraphim, and the dedicated efforts of the Egyptian Consulate in Chicago, a committee from Egypt will be visiting the Midwest region to assist in renewing expired National IDs and issuing new ones for individuals who do not yet have one.
Required Documents and Application Process: To apply, you must have a digital birth certificate. Please follow these steps to submit your application:
Send a request email to appointmentsndrequests@gmail.com.
Include the following in your email:
- A scanned copy of your digital birth certificate
- Your contact information
Ensuring a Visit to Michigan:
To ensure Michigan is included in the committee's itinerary, we need to meet a minimum of 500 applicants. Kindly send your name and contact information to:

Make sure to mention “Michigan visit” in your email to prioritize the location.
